The Software Asset Management (SAM) team at Grey Matter, known as SAMwise, is our specialist division to help customers ensure they are not over or under licensed or inadvertently using counterfeit software.
The Complimentary SAM Session is a quick and simple high level Microsoft licence review to ascertain if your company has any potential licensing issues and is on the most cost effective Microsoft licensing scheme. This will form the basis for us to advise you on the benefits of investing in SAM (Software Asset Management) and to give us the ability to deliver an estimate for a complete SAM solution.
How it works - The review is free of charge and is completed remotely. The results of the session are confidential and you are free to decide what to do next. The steps are:
- You request a complimentary SAM session using the link below
- We contact you and detail how you can discover the Microsoft software your company has installed. If your company does not own a software discovery tool we can recommend a tool from a range of tried and tested solutions
- We then create an Estimated Licence Position (ELP) with a short report highlighting any licence shortfalls or surpluses and discuss how your company may benefit from investing in SAM going forward
Microsoft Certification - If you are interested in signing up to the Microsoft SAM Programme we can help. All the documentation we produce as part of a full review is ready to be certified by Microsoft- We create an Actual Licence Position (ALP) by comparing your companies installed software to the licenses owned. This include an onsite visit to authenticate your physical proof of licence which Microsoft do not keep a record of. Once this statement is approved by Microsoft, they will send you a certificate proving your legal compliance.
